Grameenphone is all set to usher in Independence Day 2009 with a new special tariff offer for the entire subscriber base. The year 2009 has been all about ‘Change' and we at Grameenphone have always believed in instigating positive changes for greater the good.
As part of our continuous efforts to add further value to our subscribers' usage experience, we have fine-tuned the tariff structure of all our products.
From March 22, 2009, all GP subscribers can enjoy a Special Hour tariff of 49 paisa per minute between 12pm and 4pm, on any GP-GP call.
smile and djuice subscribers will also enjoy extended duration of Night-time, i.e. 12 am - 8 am. Calls to other operators can now be made at a 50% reduced rate, i.e. BDT 1 per minute, however, Night-time and calls to any GP number can be made at 49 paisa per minute.
Calls to F&F numbers will now be charged at 49 paisa per minute.
In case of Special Hour, F&F and Night-time calls, 60 second pulse will be applicable for smile and djuice connections. The 1 second pulse rate for xplore subscribers will remain unchanged.
In case of Community calls during Special Hour, the lower tariff will be applicable, i.e. djuice subscribers will enjoy 49 paisa/min in case of djuice-djuice calls during 12pm-4pm, instead of 75 paisa/min.
From March 22, 2009 all smile, djuice, xplore, Business Solutions, GP Public Phone, GP Public Phone (BPO) and Village Phone subscribers will enjoy new price plan. This offer will remain valid until further notice.
